An Evaluation of The Scottish Office Domestic Violence Media Campaign
In June 1994, The Scottish Office launched a media campaign aimed at highlighting the criminality of domestic violence; confronting perpetrators with the consequences of their actions; and providing information about support for those affected by domestic violence.

Domestic violence: a national report
Following the advent of new laws a national action plan has been published that sets out the progress made so far in tackling the crime and outlines future proposals to further improve support to victims and bring more perpetrators to justice.

Protection from Abuse (Scotland) Act 2001
An Act of the Scottish Parliament to enable a power of arrest to be attached to interdicts granted to protect individuals from abuse; to regulate the consequences of such attachment; and for connected purposes.
